What started as Jared’s weekend hobby in 2015 has blossomed into Set In Steel, the specialists in polished concrete design & fabrication. Every piece at Set In Steel undergoes rigorous quality checks, ensuring consistency and excellence. Jared, revered in the industry, personally oversees every stage – from design to finishing – guaranteeing that each creation is a masterpiece of skill and dedication.
At Set in Steel, we embrace 100% customisation. Our team will work closesly with you throughout every stage of the process, from choosing colours and finishes to the final approval of the design of your custom piece. We work hard to ensure your unique style is perfectly captured in our concrete creations.
The versatility of architectural concrete allows us to complete the entire fabrication process in-house. Our focus is on making the installation of your bespoke polished concrete pieces a seamless and stress-free experience.
We use only the highest quality products and materials supplied by industry leaders Domcrete. Thanks to Domcrete, Our Glass-Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) is 100% silica free. Jared’s expertise and skill in the use of Engineered Cementitious Concrete (ECC) sets us apart. The use and application of these materials allow for lighter, more durable and aesthetically appealing designs, opening up new avenues of creativity and possibility in concrete furniture.

Contact us via call or our form. We will provide an overview of our process, discussing the ideal finishes, colour options and best practical uses for concrete as part of your project proposal.
Send us your contact information, the location of your project, and specific plans or dimensions. If relevant, include additional details like appliance specifications.
Based on the information you provide, including plans or drawings, and delivery address, we’ll send you a detailed quote. Each item is specified on a separate line, ensuring the quote is easy to understand, and there are no hidden costs.
With the quote, you’ll receive an info pack covering concrete care and maintenance, ensuring you know how to keep your piece in top condition.
We can send you colour samples and arrange a visit to our workshop for a firsthand look at our work.
Once you’re happy with the quote and our proposal, a 50% deposit is required to start scheduling your project. We will then liase with you and your builder to arrange a site visit (once the joinery has been installed) where we will meet with you and your builder to obtain exact measurements, template any pieces as required, and discuss finishes and colours.
We keep in touch throughout the project, ensuring all details are as per your requirements. Once your project is nearing completion, we will contact you and provide photographs of your pieces. Your final payment will be due prior to installation. We will liase with you and your builder to secure an installation date.
